Black Dog Shredding, Inc. is a woman owned, local business with two main objectives SECURITY and SERVICE. We offer more than just a shredding service; we provide security, integrity and honesty. We meet stringent industry standards. We are large enough to provide the professional services you expect yet small enough to provide you the customer service you deserve.
We use the most current technology in mobile shredding equipment, lockable security bins and consoles and our staff is continually attending training classes on compliance laws and procedures.
We are so confident in our destruction procedures that we encourage you to witness the entire shredding process.
Loss control, federal compliance regulations and new identity theft laws require a higher level of secure on-site shredding service. Having your documents and records shredded on site rather than trucked to a remote site or out of state to be shredded provides the security and piece of mind needed in today’s litigious society.

Tammy Diaz
Tammy is from Alcalde, NM and a single mother of a teenage daughter.
A graduate of Española Valley High School, Tammy holds a BS in Environmental Science from NM Highlands University and an MS in Geosciences from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).
Upon graduation from UNLV, Tammy spent five years at the New Mexico Environment Department and another 11 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), as a Program Manager.
In 2021, Tammy decided that she desired more job flexibility and the ability to do more for local communities. She resigned her position at LANL and purchased Black Dog Shredding — becoming a first-time entrepreneur.
